Solar

Solar energy is the most reliable form of renewable energy for homes and businesses. With the big improvement of technology, solar energy has become more readily available for customers who are looking to make the switch to solar panels. Homes and businesses can easily invest in solar panel installation which will allow them to save thousands of dollars each year.

The SolarHomes Program will provide a rebate to Nova Scotian homeowners who install eligible solar projects. The rebate will make solar more affordable and save Nova Scotians money on their electricity bills.

Canada Greener Homes Grant can also now provide homeowners with up to $40,000, interest free, at a ten year repayment rate to make the switch! By just paying your current power bill, this can easily be paid off within 10-15 years.

Heat Pumps

A heat pump is part of a heating and cooling system and is installed outside your home.Not only are they capable of cooling your home, but it’s also capable of providing efficient heat. In cooler months, the heat pump pulls heat from the cold outdoor air and transfers it indoors, and in warmer months, it pulls heat out of indoor air to cool your home. They are powered by electricity and transfer heat using refrigerant to provide comfort all year round. There is a heat pump size and style for every home.
